DAZL Diamonds on Secret Millionaire 14/5/2012 AND CONTINUE TO GAIN MEDIA SUCCESS
David King is one of the world’s most successful international theatre producers. He leaves his showbiz lifestyle to go undercover in Leeds, looking for people he may be able to help. He’s known in his industry for his no-nonsense approach, but nothing could have prepared him for the shocking event that takes place on The Secret Millionaire. This episode features the DAZL Diamonds, Dance Action Zone Leeds official BCA International Championship winning Cheerdance team.
• The Diamonds are receiving a mass amount of publicity and media coverage as a team such a BBC Look North and SKY Sports events; they also have the UK’s only All Male Cheerdance Squad which has UK and International media buzzing. The DAZL Diamond Boys have been the stars of their own BBC 2 documentary Wonderland “Boy Cheerleaders”, which had over 2 million viewers and even more online. The film has gone on to be shown in USA, Canada, Sweden with an extremely positive response which as resulted in the boys been invited to Europe to showcase what they do! to the European media.
• The DAZL Boys were also the stars of world wide internationally renound DJ Tiesto Vs Mark Knights Ft Dino pop video, “Beautiful World”. The boys worked with fashion label Gio-Goi, mojofuel and Toolroom Records who created the video; you can now see the video on all major music channels in UK and around the world including MTV.
• The DAZL Boys have appeared on The Paul O’Grady Show, BBC Odd Box, The 5 O’clock Show, CBBC – Basil Brush, CBBC News Round, ITV, Channel 5 & BBC News, and more recently Britain’s Got Talent, CBBC’s The Slammer and SKY 1 got to dance series 3 where they performed on stage with Ashley Banjo & Adam Garcia.
• The Boys were also recruited to back the BBC Sports Relief 2012 campaign and sport relief has supported our work in the past. The were also crowned best act in Leeds by Barclay’s part of Barclays live 2009 which has resulted in the boys been successful in more competition and performing at music festivals across the country.
• They will be featured as central characters to the secret millionaire story on Channel 4 across, where they spent time with theatre producer David King.
• The Boys will feature on the BBC across June 2012 along with the rest of DAZL Diamonds as part of the Olympic torch celebrations.
