DAZL Wakefield Happy Healthy Holidays
DAZL Wakefield Happy Healthy Holidays 2022 supported by Wakefield Council and the departments of Education England. The film highlights the programme and the experiences and impacts this vital work has on families across Wakefield and District.
We based our activity in Normanton at Vibe Fitness, we also worked with the Wakefield Family Hub and HomeStart throughout 22 to achieve better outcomes for the children and young people we serve. The video below highlights our work from the young people and the participants.
We provided dance and wellbeing activities which include Change 4 Life activities, dance, Multisport, crafts
and creative activities. These activities were provided by the DAZL team and our experienced workers plus that of
our partners. We also offered a cook along sessions via the DAZL wellbeing worker and this was in person but you could also do this at home via our healthy lifestyle page www.dazl.org.uk/healthylifestyles . The young people could access our other activities at home after attending our face to face activities.
