DAZL Youth Company #NoFilterTour “The obsession with the selfie”
The DAZL Youth Dance Company each year create a series of performance opportunities across the region creating a mini tour of the companies work. last year we had real good response from this approach and this young people gained such much experience and met some wonderful groups who we have now form partnerships/ relationship with. This work has been possible due to the involvement in the RDDN (Regional Dance Development Network) led by Yorkshire Dance. The group is lead by Dance Development officer Vicky Mawson and NSCD Student/ DAZL Artist Mason Jubb. #NoFilter is a dance & health project that looks at the issues surrounding young people and social media. The work was funded by Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts and the Tour is supported by Leeds Public Health and the Young people.
