The Middleton Park Dance Day 2013

What a FANTASTIC day on Sunday 18th August, DAZL hosted a dany of dance down at Middleton Park. The event was run by our very own Dance Leaders and future freelance artists. The Middleton park dance day was a mini festival giving DAZL community groups, DAZL diamonds, Supreme Starlets and other outside dance organization such as Northern Ballet theatre and also our #ashtag project that is funded by Leeds city council to come together and showcase our work.

Performances showcased throughout the day, as well as dance workshops, DAZL donated the taking from the raffel to local group Supreme Starlet, over 200 dancers took part with over 400 supporters.

The Northern Ballet added an extra buzz with there three little pigs workshops and lots of prizes for the children to take away – I hope everyone from DAZL will be down supporting the Northern Ballet at The Hunslet Club x
