Please checkout two taster videos from the Kick Off Boys Project which is a partnership between DAZL, NSCD, Leeds City Collage and Phoenix Dance.

Over the last half term we asked the lads if the following questions

Has the project made you think about dance in the future?

What would you tell other boys about the project?

Part of this terms kick off boys project we look at mental health in young men. We have worked with Space 2 Leeds and Wayne Sables Project on some mental health anti-stigma work. From these workshops which have been supported by space 2 and big lottery we have created a new piece of work “Painted Face”

We asked the lads – What have you learnt about mental health?  

The documentary/ short film will be released the first week in July 2018 so stay tuned.
