Leeds Children’s Mayor elections 2014

Who will you vote for in this year’s Leeds Children’s Mayor elections?

Leeds Children’s Mayor is a unique local democracy project created to encourage children and young people to take part in a democratic election and to take active roles in improving their communities.
This year we have ten amazing finalists who have written manifesto’s on topics such as reducing bullying, the environment, making parks more fun, staying healthy and more social clubs for children.
Only people aged 19 years or younger can vote so please share this information with the children and young people you work with. We have attached a poster you may want to display in your group setting.

Voting is easy – just visit: www.breezeleeds.org/leedschildrensmayor

You can then read the manifestos from the ten finalists and vote for your top three. Votes must be cast by 5pm on Tuesday 4th November. The winner of the election will be announced on 12th November.
