On Sunday 14th May 2017 Dance Action Zone Leeds (DAZL) took 120 dancers from Inner South, Inner East and Outer South Areas of Leeds and over 200 parents to the ICE Championships in Sheffield. The competition featured division in Cheerdance, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Contemporary with groups from across the north of England and the Midlands.
We were so impressed with all the talent and the standard of the young dancers, DAZL took home 7 1st Place Trophies, the title of Hip-Hop Grand Champions, Cheerdance Grand Champions, The Sportsmanship Award and Also a special award for DAZL Director Ian Rodley. We couldn’t be more proud of all the families, Coach’s and dancers who have worked so hard in rehearsals, community fundraising events and showcases.Â
