DAZL have recently received some funding to run dance sessions in the Farnley and Wortley areas from the Outer West Community Committee with support of the local Councillors Ann Blackburn, David Blackburn and Terry Wilford. The sessions are growing in numbers each week and is proving more dance should be happening in both these areas.
Mondays we have our DAZL Xplode Breakdance @ Hillside Hall, Cross Lane, Farnley, LS12 5AA with DAZL tutor Tammy. 4.30pm-5.30pm is the younger class for 6-11yrs and 5.30pm-6.30pm is the older class for ages 12-16yrs. Both sessions are FREE of charge and it is a wonderful class to gain skills in breakdance and other Hip Hop styles.
Wednesdays we have DAZL Xplode Cheer @ St John’s the Evangelist, Dixon Lane Rd, Wortley, LS12 4RU with DAZL Dance Development Officer Vicky. 4.30pm-5.30pm is the younger class for 6-11yrs and 5.30pm-6.30pm is the older class for ages 12-16yrs.
