DAZL Annual Review 2017-18

This year DAZL improved the health & wellbeing of 4892 participants through dance and connecting with communities in 20 of the 33 Leeds City Council Wards including every major deprived ward in the city.

This year DAZL engaged 3847 Girls and 1045 Boys participated in dance activities of which 3142 were inactive highlighting the importance of dance.

 

DAZL worked in partnership with 41 organisations and projects which supported the work and Co-lead on the “KICK Off Boys Partnership Project” bringing funds from awards 4 all and other organisations such as Wayne Sables, Space 2 along with the other partners NSCD, Leeds City Collage and Phoenix Dance.

DAZL has worked with Rees Dance Company & Wayne Sables on a major dance project and will be seeking to develop this over the next year.
